Hi Everyone! I did it! I created a blog! I have to say I am pretty proud of myself for figuring it out (and it only took 3 hours...). I guess I did it because it really involves a lot of the things that I am interested in; namely my family, journaling, writing, and keeping in touch with everyone we care about - our family and friends. I have picked up so many good ideas from all of your blogs, and in some way I hope I can do the same for you. So, let us know what you think! I would love to have your thoughts and ideas!

Blogging world, here I (we) come! I'll have Brent do most of the updates (yeah, right) while I sit back and just read your comments!!!

The Notorious Quote Board

So, at our house, when someone says something funny or could be funny if taken out of context, it goes on the QUOTE BOARD!

Jake asked if the port-a-potty he was using was a "pee and poop box"
Mom - "Wasn't the Stamp Act about postage stamps?"
Mom - "The Declaration of Independence was the one that freed the slaves, right?"
Mom - "Our instincts go back to animals. Cute animals don't date ugly animals!"
Dad and Jake after Jake spilled on his shirt. Dad - "Jake what's on your shirt?" Jake - "What?! My nipples?"
Jake keeps using the word "scripe". We have no idea what it means, but he uses it like this: "Scripe it out!" or "Those clouds are scriping."
Dad - "Jake why are you talking with an accent? Are you from Minnesota?" Jake Responds - "No! I'm not drinking soda!"
Jake to Nanna - Did you really need to buy that?
Jake to Jordan - Is Nanna gonna put you in time out for asking questions?!!
Cousin Joey - No! Those aren't flies. They're saber-tooth crotch crickets!
Jake has been calling lettuce "balooshus" lately... don't worry we don't get it either!
Jake - (Looking at the Incredibles DVD cover) "Oh that's Aunt Chelle, Uncle Devin, and baby Asher!"
Mom - Leopards don't usually change their stripes! (Um, Mom, Leopards don't have stripes.)
Jake - No T! You can't have a boyfriend! You a GRIL! (Yes, g-r-i-l)
Jordan - That woman looks like an evil Disney character!
Jake - While in time-out, talking to the puppy: "Don't look at me Cameron..."
Jake - Hamadle, Hamadle... (This is what he calls the Disney characters; we have no idea why! There is a dance that goes along with it too!)
Jake - Sadie (Slade) yooks yike a cupcake.
Jake - Nana, my nose is sick! (jake's way of saying he has a cold!)
Jake - Whatever!
Jake - Bye Nana and T! Gake Gake has a booger!
Jake - "OH That's Wonderful!"
Jake - (Aunt Jordan taught me to say these) Mi Amore! (and) Look out Ladies!!
Conversation between Jordan and Jake - Jordan: Jake are you tired? Jake: No. Jordan: Are you hyper? Jake: No, Not yet.
Jordan - I'm surprised you found a pecan, the steals usually squirrel 'em! (aka: the squirrels usually steal them)
Jordan - She's just like a little Who! She brings joy to all she sees! (when the little girl scout brought us cookies!)
Brent - I wouldn't mind wearing a kilt!
Jordan - I'm just not a "sweet" person!
Kevin - It's just a toe gun!
Grammy - I'm worn out, but I feel good!
Lisa - Fairies! Nine of them! (while talking in sleep)!
